I discovered this site while I was bloghopping on fashion sites and I must say, this has got to be the next best thing since Facebook! The site allows you to make fashion boards such as the one above. It provides the clothes, shoes, accessories...everything you need to achieve that perfect look. They have oodles of pieces to choose from! If I can't have those stuff in my closet at least I can pleasure my eyes with them. The site is truly an eye-candy and very entertaining...the type wherein you won't realize how late it is and you're supposed to sleep already because you have classes in the morning. Haha! I hope you have fun making your own creations like I did!

In everything worth doing there has to be a beginning. Though I had qualms in starting this fashion blog, I set aside the doubts and insecurities and just boosted up the confidence I have on my sense of fashion. I may not be an expert, of course I am not. I believe in the fact that fashion is a form of expression and you are how you express yourself through clothes and no matter what you wear, there's no such thing as being unfashionable. Fashion is all about being confident in what you decided to put together and being proud of it. The only time a person looks unfashionable is when he/she squirms in what he/she wears. I was a victim of this "insecurity and squirming thing" in the past and it is well and good that I have surpassed that hurdle.

I also do not believe fashion is equal to "designer" clothing. If that was the case, then 95% of the women in the world are unfashionable.

I realized I didn't post a first welcome message or a backgrounder or anything. I was just too hooked up with posting my outfits that I forgot to place something. So this serves as my welcome message. Hiya all!

At this time when fashion is on the verge of mixing modernized designs and vintage looks, it is best to scour our mother's closets for pieces that we could add to our treasure closet. Old styles are making a comeback so instead of spending for clothes which already existed way before, asking for mom's old shirts, skirts, and bags would simply do the trick. Most of the skirts I have I got from mom and they look really nice. I even get more compliments with skirts I got from mom than skirts I bought! So start rummaging through your mother's old pile of clothing and you might just see the perfect pieces.
